WHAT IS GRAD BASH? For High School Seniors around the country Grad Bash is a once-in-a-lifetime, rite-of- passage celebration. Seniors will enjoy an exciting night with their friends in Florida s only grad celebration with exclusive, private access to both Universal s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. Plus, they ll enjoy thrilling rides and attractions, entertainment, and more.
WHAT IS GRAD BASH FOR DHS? The Senior Trip and Grad Bash is one of the ways in which Principal Shaw celebrates the graduating class. It is incredibly exciting, as a senior, to go on a road trip with the friends you have been with for your four years of high school. You have built special bonds with these people, and Grad Bash is an amazing opportunity to create even more memories with them.
WHEN WILL THE SENIOR TRIP TAKE PLACE? The Class of 2024 will depart DHS on April 11th and will be returning to DHS on April 14th.
WHAT IS THE ITINERARY? THURSDAY April 11th, 2024 6:00PM Depart Dutchtown High School in Hampton, GA. Meals and rest stops on your own en route. 2:00AM Approximate time of arrival at Universal s Endless Summer- Dockside Resort Check-in and prepare for bed.

FRIDAY APRIL 12, 2024 6:30-9:30AM One (1) Breakfast voucher @ Hotel. 11:00AM-3:00PM Depart for Lunch and shopping at Orlando International Premium Outlets Depart Orlando International Premium Outlets for hotel 3:00PM 6:00PM Depart for Universal's Grad Bash at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios! Dance and ride your night away! 7:00PM Universal Grad Bash begins!

SATURDAY APRIL 13, 2024 2:00AM Depart Grad Bash for hotel and crash! 6:30-9:30 AM One (1) Breakfast voucher @ Hotel 11:00AM-5:00PM Volcano Bay Fast, thrilling or relaxing water rides! Depart Volcano Bay for hotel 7:00PM Depart for Disney Springs 11:30 PM Depart Disney Springs for hotel 5:00PM
WHAT IS THE ITINERARY? SUNDAY APRIL 14, 2024 Breakfast on your own. 10:00AM Pack, check-out, load the bus and depart for home. Meals and rest stops at groups discretion en route. Lunch on your own (Valdosta, GA) 6:00PM Arrive at Dutchtown High School!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. What is the cost of the Senior Trip? Answer. The total cost of the trip is $750 dollars. It includes transportation, lodging, theme parks and meals. Q. When are payments for the Senior Trip due? Answer. The first payment for the Senior Trip was October 30, 2023 The second payment for the Senior Trip is January 12, 2024 The final payment for the Senior Trip is February 15, 2024
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. How much money should students bring on the Senior Trip? Answer: All of the activities and the majority of the meals are included in the fees for the senior trip. Students will need money for meals traveling to and from Orlando,. Q: Will the group be making stops while traveling to and from Orlando? Answer: Yes. The group will be stopping for food and restroom breaks along the way. .
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Can the trip be paid in full Answer: Yes. There is an option on MySchoolBucks to pay in full. Q: How many students are allowed to go on the Senior Trip? Answer: Last year we took our largest group with 130 students (3 buses). In previous years we have only taken 2 buses.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What adults are in charge? Answer: The chaperones are several DHS teachers and staff members. Mr. Avery and Dr. Martin (the senior administrators) will be attending. Q: What is the discipline policy? Answer: Students must adhere to the Henry County Schools Student Disciplinary Handbook.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. How are roommates chosen? Answer: As the trip approaches, students will complete a Google Form to select their roommates. However, sponsors and administrators make final rooming decisions. Will males and females have separate room assignments? Answer: Absolutely! Young men and young ladies will have separate rooms on separate floors. The students will have more than enough time to intermingle outside of their rooms.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. How many students will be assigned to each room? Answer. There will be three students assigned to each room. We took careful consideration after of Covid 19. Therefore, three beds, three students.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Will there be security at the hotel Answer: There will be security in the hotel specifically focused on Dutchtown Students. Is there a dress code? Answer: Universal has a specific dress code for it s event. For the other venues, student must keep in mind that this is a school sanctioned trip.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q : What time will we be leaving on the date on the Senior Trip? Answer: Buses will be pulling out at 6:00 pm Thursday, April 11, 2024. Students should prepare to leave before April 11th. Students will have enough time to travel home and get their items and return to the school. Students need to be back at the school at 5:00 as we prepare to load buses.
