Students at PS/MS 333 Goldie Maple Academy are struggling with excessive technology usage, prompting a Public Policy Analyst to step in and guide them through defining the issue, gathering evidence, identifying causes, evaluating existing policies, developing solutions, and selecting the best one. The process involves activities like discussing technology balance and implementing measures such as using Yondr pouches for locking devices in school. Solutions include limiting screen time, deleting social media apps, setting reminders, and parental controls. Collaborative decision-making helps choose the most effective solution.
