  5. Effort and Attitude Effort and Attitude Effort and Attitude are the two things every athlete must bring everyday. We will be addressed in a respectful manner. Athletes must be responsible and accountable.

  6. North Ridge Athletic Mission North Ridge Athletic Mission Statement Statement To provide student athletes with opportunities to learn, grow and experience success in a positive environment that is supported by staff, parents and the community.

  7. Tutorial Times Tutorial Times 7thGrade Tutorial plans should be made after school. (4:00-4:45PM) 8thGrade Tutorial plans should be made for before school. (8:00-8:30AM)

  8. Conduct Conduct All North Ridge Athletes are required be respectful and will behave in the classroom. Ridge Way will be followed in conjunctions with classroom behavior. D-Hall- 100 Up- Downs Office Referral FNS- miss the 1sthalf Suspension- will miss the first game when they return

  9. Locker Room Responsibilities Locker Room Responsibilities North Ridge Athletics will not be responsible for any lost personal belongings. Thieves will be removed from athletics. Every athlete receives a lock and locker. Lock everything up! We will investigate but will not be held responsible for missing belongings.

  12. Removal from Athletics 3 Referrals 2 failed six weeks Not dressing out and participating in Athletics.

  13. Boys Athletics Boys Athletics Can only sign up for athletics if you plan to play football. You will still be able to try-out for other sports before or after school. If you make the team your schedule will be changed.

  14. Attendance Attendance The athlete is responsible for their attendance. Attendance will be checked everyday at the same time. If your child is late it is their responsibility to find a coach so they are not counted absent.

  15. Football Practice Times Football Practice Times 7th Grade Locker room opens at 7:00 AM and we are on the field stretching at 7:15 AM. Game days- Locker room opens at 8:00 AM on the field by 8:15. 8th Grade Practice ends at 5:15 PM Days of Richland High School games- Practice ends @ 4:30.

  16. 7 7th th Grade Grade Volleyball Traveling Teams- A, B, Maroon, White A-Team: 10-12 girls B-Team: 10 girls Maroon/White: 5 girls each (alternate every other week with the B team) Non-Traveling-Developmental Team Play before all 7th grade home games. Starts at 4:00

  17. 8 8th th Grade Volleyball Grade Volleyball A- Team: 10-12 Girls B-Team: 10-12 Girls Practice Squad: Those that did not make the but want to play in High School -Practice from 4:00-5:00 with traveling teams Off-Season (ends at bell)

Volleyball Practice Times Volleyball Practice Times 7th Grade Travel teams Locker room opens at 7:00 a.m. and we are on the court stretching at 7:15 a.m. 7th grade Developmental Team On the court at 8:00 a.m. Girls will have time to get dressed and go to breakfast during 1st period 8th Grade Practice ends at 5:00 p.m.

  20. Volleyball Games Volleyball Games B-Team is asked to stay and watch the A-Team game After the conclusion of A-Team, a Parent CAN sign out with the coach to take daughter home. Everyone else rides the bus back to North Ridge Parents need to arrive no later than 15 minutes after the bus returns!

  21. Paperwork Athletic Checklist Checklist Get the Preparticipation Physical Evaluation form completed and turned in. (Left side Medical History-you and right side Physical-doctor.) Honor Code Competed (This will be accessed through online registration at the beginning of the school year.) North Ridge Athletic Expectations completed and turned in.
