CORE CURRICULUM 6 Classes per day 6th, 7th & 8th grade- Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, two Elective choices 6th, 7th & 8th Students who perform at a level 1 or 2 on the FSA/IREADY will be enrolled in an Intensive Reading course and have one Elective option Gifted Courses 6th, 7th & 8th grade Language Arts, Science, Social Studies GEM Math & GEARS Science TRACK 6th grade- Pre-Algebra, Accelerated Science I 7th grade- Algebra Honors, Accelerated Science II 8th grade- Geometry Honors & Biology Honors High School Credit and Honor Courses High School Honors: Algebra, Geometry, Coding, Debate, Biology Non-Honors: Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Cambridge Global Perspectives Cambridge English Language Arts 8th grade Cambridge Global Perspectives- 7th & 8th grade

Registration and Course Card information Student Course Card selections will be completed via Microsoft Forms in March/April. 5th grade teachers will coordinate this with the middle school. All students entering Coral Springs Middle School must complete ALL registration forms. Forms will go home with students in March/April. Teacher recommendation and/or FSA/iReady data will be used for student placement in Academic courses. Parents may always reach out if there are concerns.
