  2. To understand the different components of environment. To know the dependency of human being on environment. To understand the ways ,how the human being destroying the environment. To recognize the dangerous impact of environmental degradation on present and future generation. To praise the concept of sustainable development for the existence of human being on this mother earth. K.K. PRASAD , TGT ( S.St. )

  3. ENVIRONMENT : life support system. FLORA : includes- forest, bushes & shrubs and grass-land. FAUNA : living organisms, who do not make their food own. LITHOSPHERE : ,which includes- mountains, plateau and plains. HYDROSPHERE : oceans, seas, lakes, rivers and ponds. ATMOSPHERE : BIOSPHERE : lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere meet together. ECOSYSTEM : all living organisms with each other and with physical environment in which they live. ENVIRONMENT :- -Our surroundings which provide us FLORA :- -The plant kingdom of the world, which FAUNA :- - The animal kingdom, which includes all LITHOSPHERE :- -The domain of land or solid rocks HYDROSPHERE :- -The domain of water, which includes ATMOSPHERE :- -The air surrounding our earth. BIOSPHERE :- -A narrow zone of living world, where ECOSYSTEM :- -A system formed by the interaction of K.K. PRASAD , TGT ( S.St. )

  5. We are living on the lithosphere. We totally depend on the natural environment for air, water, minerals and so on. Various resources we use for our development and existence are the part of environment. We are using land for shelter, cultivation and setting industries. We are using water in day to day life for irrigation, transport, generating hydal power etc. We can t imagine about our so called civilized and developed society without the help of environment. K.K. PRASAD , TGT ( S.St. )

  6. As our entire existence and development depend upon environment, so it is our prime duty to conserve it. We should minimize the use of resources as they are limited in nature. We must maintain the principle of sustainable development. We must know that excessive exploitation of environment would create a serious threat to human being. The scientists and environmentalists have repeatedly warned against it. K.K. PRASAD , TGT ( S.St. )

  7. 1) Explain the term environment. 2) What are the major components of environment? 3) Distinguish between:- a) flora and fauna. b) natural and human made environment. 4)How can you say plants and animals depend upon each other? 5) Write short notes on :- i) Ecosystem, ii) Environmental degradation, iii) Barter system. K.K. PRASAD , TGT ( S.St. )
