  20. COVID-19 UPDATES Exams last year did not happen. All diplomas were determined largely by Internal Assessments and predicted grades through a special formula designed by IB. This year some courses have been amended and some requirements have been removed for May 2021 testing due to the nature of the course and many schools having to teach remotely. Teachers will do their best to still get you the content needed to be successful on the exams in whatever context they occur. IB is constantly updating based on worldwide changes with COVID- 19 conditions.
