Efficient Management of TPT Beneficiaries with Post-Treatment Follow-Up Module
As part of the TOG 2016 guidance, beneficiaries completing treatment are eligible for a 2-year follow-up in the PTFU module. Ni-kshay facilitates identifying and managing eligible beneficiaries, capturing follow-up details, and generating reports for further actions. The system allows tracking of TPT treatment progress and outcomes effectively.

Feature to enable follow up of TPT beneficiaries under the PTFU module
Post Treatment Follow Up Register - Overview As part of TOG 2016 guidance, all DSTB, DRTB and TPT beneficiaries successfully completing treatment are eligible for follow-up for a 2-year period at regular intervals to reduce relapse, death and ensure recurrence- free survival. To enable this, post treatment follow up feature was launched in Ni-kshay for DSTB patients in Jan 22. Following are the key features enabled in Nikshay for this workflow. Post Treatment Follow up (PTFU) eligible patient register Post Treatment Follow Up (PTFU) Form Post Treatment Follow up (PTFU) cascade report Within this feature, Ni-kshay enables the user to identify the beneficiaries eligible for follow-up, have provision for capturing details of the follow-up and add tests/management details as appropriate and review cascade report for further action and record follow up of TPT treatment within this feature as well.
