Lowell Scott Middle School 2023-2024 6thGrade Course Selection
STEP 1 Fill out the course selection form to choose your music class for next year. *All 6thgrade students are assigned exploratory classes.
STEP 2 Log into your student or parent PowerSchool account. Under Navigation click on ClassChoice Enter your requested music class into ClassChoice
Once you are on the Requests screen click on 6th Grade Music from the Electives drop down.
You will then choose one of the music options given. For a description of the class, hover over info
To make your selection click the box next to the music class and click on Save Request.
Log into your parent PowerSchool account and click on Applications Step 3 Update your students PowerSchool Information Select SchoolForms
You will then see a table with Available Forms. Click on both the Medical form and Update Contact Information to update. Date indicates last time form was updated. Click on form to update Update to current date
Review each screen and make changes if necessary. To show that the form was updated/reviewed you must sign the Confirmation Page 1. Sign Name 2. Check box 3. Click on Save Form
Steps to complete your students registration: 1. Fill out Course Selection Form and return to your elementary school by the deadline noted at the top left corner of your registration form. 2. Complete music selection in ClassChoice. 3. Return Course Selection Form by the due date to your elementary school. 4. Make sure your Update Contact Information and Medical form are updated in PowerSchool (Forms will need to be updated in order to see schedules in the summer).
