ELA Standard: 6.RL.CS.4 and 6.L.VAU.4 Topic: Students will be able to use context clues to determine word meaning and analyze the impact of specific word choices on meaning and tone. Instructions: Please follow the direction to access your assignment. Step 1.) Go to www.jmcss.org and go to student section at the bottom of the page Step 2.) Click on Clever and Login with "Active Directory" ENTER EMAIL-- Firstname.Lastname@students.jmcss.org (ex. (Kya.Newsom@students.jmcss.org)) Make sure the "S" is at the end of STUDENTS in the email. ENTER PASSWORD-- with first initial, last initial, and Student ID ex.(Kn1234567) Step 3.) Science Standard:6.LS2.4-- Using evidence from climate data, draw conclusions about the patterns of abiotic and biotic factors in different biomes, specifically the tundra, taiga, deciduous forest, desert, grasslands, rainforest, marine, and freshwater ecosystems. Topic: The student will be able to identify the changes in abiotic and biotic factors based on the climate patterns in different biomes. Instructions: Use the map on page 4 of the worksheets to answer the questions on page 3, and correctly label the map on page 3 as well. The first two pages are not used.
