The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) is undergoing significant updates and modifications in its operations, including the use of trucks for mobility, an increase in statistical power, and the inclusion of new components like genetics testing and nasal microbiome analysis. NHANES will continue to conduct population-based surveys through in-home interviews and in-person exams. The 2025 survey will cover a wide range of health assessments, from anthropometry to dietary recall, with a focus on enhancing data collection and analysis processes.
