  2. KDLIS Modernization KDLIS (Kentucky Driver Licensing Information System) Driver License system modernization is essential to Kentucky moving forward for several reasons State to State (S2S) This program will connect all US jurisdictions to ensure each driver has one credential in only one state The Division of Driver Licensing will be able to eliminate multiple manual processes Reporting will vastly improve KDLIS has been a very serviceable database, but has none of the modern capabilities

  3. KDLIS Modernization Where are we in the process? The RFP was issued May 10thand closed June 21st The Finance Cabinet has begun the submission review process Once the contract is awarded, deployment will take about 24 months

  4. New Driver Licensing Regional Offices Two new locations are being established We have established a temporary location in Nelson County that just opened to the public last week. We estimate the permanent DLRO will open late Dec 2024 or Jan 2025 Our other target location is Grayson County since there were no options available for a temporary or permanent location, Finance will issue a bid for submissions and will let us know the results, once complete A third DLRO being added is under consideration as we review both capacity and geographic coverage of our existing offices
