They underwent examination of the effected eye . They had vision ranging from HM +ve to PL+ve Slit lamp examination showed various stages of corneal stromal thinning, small perforations. Those diagnosed with corneal melt were documented with their consent. Photographs were taken of the diagnosed eye and a culmination of the data from these patients was analysed and summarised
