Scientific Research in Islam Islam made it known that the pursuit of knowledge should be evident and clear, providing the populace with specialized research that could help them in the development of scientific facts, for example finding certain medicines for certain illnesses. Islam encouraged it s followers to seek knowledge, as well as produce specialized researches in connection to this. 3
This Hadith reported by Abu Huraira refers to wisdom, which is seeked out alongside with knowledge. Both of these elements can be thoroughly found with specialized research. Abu Huraira reported: Wisdom is the lost property of a believer. These include the Mosque of Kairouan, the Mosque of Cordoba, the House of Wisdom in Baghdad, the University of Al Karaouine and many more. 7

He constructed a device which indicated the planets and stars in the Universe. In addition, Ibn Firnas came up with a procedure of manufacturing colorless glass and made magnifying lenses for reading, which was called reading stones. Jabir Ibn Jabir Ibn Hayyan Popularly known of chemistry, Jabir's works contain the oldest known systematic classification of chemical substances, and the oldest known instructions for deriving an inorganic compound ammoniac or Ammonium chloride) from organic substances (such as plants, blood, and hair) by chemical means. Hayyan Ibn Al Ibn Al- -Nafis Is popularly known for his areas of work included medicine, surgery, physio logy, anatomy,biology, studies, and philosophy.
