  4. Babe Ruth Teams 13-15 Division Bat Regulations Must not exceed 2 5/8 in diameter and not to exceed 34 length Must be stamped USA or BBCOR.50, not USSSA No drop weight requirement at this level Uniforms/equipment Shirts and hats provided Black pants and socks required Spikes allowed

Babe Ruth SCHEDULES Teams played McSherrystown, New Oxford, Littlestown, Gettysburg, and Fairfield Practices-Grumpy Grauels-M/W Upper Adams-T/TH Games run April 21st thru mid June to be followed by Districts Field location is Idaville upper field on Coon Road Approximately 18 game schedule TOURNAMENTS Will participate in tournaments combining with other teams Being under Littlestown charter we will form combined teams with all other teams our league This will allow for players from UA to participate in tournaments Players that are chosen for tournaments will play for Littlestown

Cal Ripken EQUIPMENT Must supply own glove Bats, helmets and balls are provided if using own bat they must meet all league standards No metallic helmets, we strongly recommend owning your own helmet! Bats must be marked USA, not USSSA Approved Bat list is on the website If you have any questions, please contact VP of your division prior to purchase Catcher gear is provided Each catcher must have own cup Cups required for Rookies, Minors and Majors (catchers only) TEAMS Tee Ball Rookies Minors Majors UNIFORMS Shirt and hats provided Name in hat recommended All levels must wear black pants Cleats recommended NO metal spikes

Cal Ripken REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULES Will receive from your coach Teams played UA, Gettysburg, Fairfield, Franklin Township, Littlestown, New Oxford, Hanover, and McSherrystown league Practice will start at coach s discretion Games could start mid-April UAYBSL Opening Day 4/25/2020 Closing Day Tournament 6/6/2020 Minors/Majors End of season League tournament-starting 6/9/2020

  10. Dugout Etiquette No food in dugout No parents in dugout, coach may have a parent volunteer in the dugout for younger teams (tee ball and rookies) at his/her discretion. This parent volunteer MUST have background checks turned in to the board Players must remain in dugout during games Keep dugout entrance clear of equipment and people Be sure to clean up any trash after the game Be sure to get all equipment before you leave If your child doesn t have their own helmet, only use helmets provided by the league. Do not use other players personal equipment.

Volunteers TEAM PARENTS Contact Erin Anglin CONCESSIONS Opening day set up and running before games start Donations for concessions are greatly appreciated a Sign up Genius email will be sent out prior to opening day No children under 18 allowed in concession stand Oakside NEEDS FILLED Jaycee NEEDS FILLED Idaville NEEDS FILLED Softball NEEDS FILLED CLEAN UP DAY TBD Meet at Oakside fields 5 & 6 for deployment to other fields FUNDRASING Terry Kline EQUIPMENT MANAGER NEEDS FILLED

  12. OAKSIDE CLEAN UP DAY AND FEES Player Fees for Oakside this year are $125, or $1 per player. We are also required to do Oakside Park work details. If we choose not to volunteer, we are required to pay fees. Fees paid last year were $525. *Oakside meeting is Thursday, March 12th *UAYBSL Clean up day-TBD

  15. Picture Day April 18th SCHEDULES detailed schedule will be posted on website and Facebook Page We have included a schedule in your parent packet. Please be early we run on a very tight schedule LOCATION Biglerville Elementary WHAT TO BRING Wear full team uniform **NO CLEATS INSIDE** Favorite glove/bat if wanted for individual pictures LEER PHOTOGRAPHY Must have money and envelope included in parent packet A large variety of items are offered MAGNETS We will be selling magnets of your player during the season for $6 Please consider purchasing the magnet of your player, as it is a fundraiser Cindi Leer helps us by giving us these magnets at a discounted rate
