WHEN FOUNDED On Friday 9th July 1957, in a passionate Sermon of Eid ul Adha, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) outlined the blessed Scheme of Waqfe Jadid (The New Dedication). The Scheme was announced on Friday, 27th December 1957. 3 Waqfe Jadid Refresher Course 2022
OBJECTIVES The primary objective of this project was to look after the spiritual upbringing of the members living in the rural communities. The secondary objective was to bring the message of Islam to Hindu population of the Pakistan. 4 Waqfe Jadid Refresher Course 2022
FIRST DIRECTOR Sahibzada Mirza Tahir Ahmad Sahib (who would later become Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (ra) was appointed as the first Director (Nazim Irshad) of Waqfe Jadid. In 1985, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (ra) broadened the scope of Waqfe Jadid and now all the countries of the world are covered by the Scheme. 5 Waqfe Jadid Refresher Course 2022
PLANNING Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) planned to create a Network of Mualimeen (teachers) who should be wholly devoted to the upbringing of the members throughout the length and breadth of Pakistan. On 1st February 1958, Fourteen Mualimeen were dispatched to selected rural areas of the country by the grace of Allah now the number of Mualimeen are in thousands. 6 Waqfe Jadid Refresher Course 2022

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE I emphasise to the Community that they should understand the importance of this scheme and devote their full attention to it and try their utmost to make it a success, ensuring that no individual in the Community who can afford it is left out. RESPONSIBILITIES REGION Respective Nazim e Ala and Nazim Waqfe Jadid to ensure that every Majlis has a Muntazim Waqfe Jadid and a monthly report is sent to Markaz from ALL their Majalis. 9 Waqfe Jadid Refresher Course 2022
RESPONSIBILITIES MAJLIS Za im Majlis or Muntazim Waqfe Jadid should motivate the nonparticipant Ansar from the previous year to take part this year. 10 Waqfe Jadid Refresher Course 2022
REPORTING Number of non-participants from previous year should be sent to Markaz as per following format on monthly basis: 1. Number of Ansar who did not participated in Chanda last year. 2.
