COLD SPRINGS MS 2020-21 Targeted Support and Improvement
NEVADA SCHOOL PERFORMANCE FRAMEWORK O Schools receive points based on student performance across various indicators and measures these include the following: O Academic Achievement O English Language Proficiency O Student Engagement (Attendance) O Academic Growth O Closing Opportunity Gaps
How is the Star rating determined? O Points are totaled and divided by the points possible to generate an index score from 1-100. Index scores are associated with a one-to-five-star rating as follows: O < 27 = 1 star O 27 to 50 = 2 stars O >50 to < 67 = 3 stars O 67 to <84 = 4 stars O 84 and up = 5 stars
Cold Springs 2018-19 School Rating Index Score = 58 Rating = 3 stars Due to COVID-19, data was not able to be collected for 19-20 school year.
Targeted Support & Improvement (TSI) Designation Cold Springs was designated as a TSI school in 2017-2018 2018-2019 Cold Springs data reflects continued TSI status Due to lack of data for 19-20, CSMS will continue in TSI status
How are Schools Identified as TSI? O One or more subgroups not meeting target(s) two years in a row on one or more measures within Academic Achievement Indicator (Math proficiency, ELA proficiency, or RBG3) O AND O One or more subgroups not meeting target(s) two years in a row within two or more remaining Indicators: Growth (Math/ELA MGP/AGP), ELPA (WIDA AGP), or Student Engagement (Math/ELA Opportunity Gap, Chronic Absenteeism)
Cold Springs 2020-21 School Performance Plan Objective #1 O Through the use of school wide common summative assessments, proficiency in ELA will incrementally increase with each assessment by 1-2% O Action Steps O Use of School City for common assessments O Data reporting by Unit into TEAMS O Implementation of the PLC process O Collaboration with ELD department to provide instructional support with ELLevation strategies

O Action Steps O Use of pre planned/scheduled Choose Love lessons in Advisory O Integration of Second step as a supplemental resource.
Update as of 10/20/21 O We have not yet collected data as it has not been made available to our site as of this monitoring benchmark. We will continue to work toward our goals set forth in the SPP and continue to monitor relevant data as it becomes available.
