Activity Length: 30-40 minutes Materials: Cardboard VR headsets and/or cell phones TIPS: TIPS: If you have cardboard VR headsets, students can use their cell phones and insert them right into the headset. If they don t have the headsets, they can just use cell phones. No cell phone access, just have them visit the websites. Sites in VR may require an app so can only be used with phone/ipad. There is a question on one of the slides about using VR travel for other classes. Talk to students about bringing historical places to life through VR visits, bringing the setting or a story to life to allow them to picture what the place actually looks like, being able to see certain structures or bridges for math word problems, and looking at places of different climates/cultures in social studies.
