Connecting with Students Live Chat Feature Through our website, students can connect with a team member at anytime between 8:30-4:30pm Careers Inbox Students can email to inquire about services offered such as Resume Review, Drop-in Sessions, Mock Interviews, CV Development, Program changes and inquiries Appointments Students can book their own virtual appointments through MySuccess for a Resume Review with a Career Coach Students can also contact the office to book a virtual appointment with a Career Consultant for a more comprehensive, exploratory career development session Career Counsellors available to meet with students on more in-depth career-related issues major exploration, what to do with your degree, as well as personality tests (Myers Briggs, Type Focus)

Connecting with Employers New Virtual Campus Recruitment Packages Launched a new series of virtual recruitment packages this fall Packages include virtual employer information sessions, targeted student recruitment and social media presence Virtual Career Fair Hosting our first Career Fair virtually using Brazen platform Open to students and alumni, close to 50 employers hosting virtual booths Job Shadow Program Leading our job shadow program in a virtual format Connecting students with industry professionals for mentorship opportunities

Building Experience Virtually International Internship Program Quick pivot to virtual opportunities Providing remote placements with international organizations for academic credit Supporting specific career-related skill development and experiences Accessible Career Transitions to Employment (ACT to Employ) Seamless pivot to virtual opportunities Remote placements for students with disabilities on and off campus Specialized career readiness support for students with disabilities

Co Co- -operative operative Education Education Students and employers pivoted quickly to remote work Some impact on the number of job opportunities for students Employers budgets were impacted by COVID-19 Some employers could not support remote work for their students Temporary flexible guidelines for co-op work terms A change to the minimum number of weeks assessed individually (a usual co-op work term is minimum 12 weeks at 35 hours per week) Campus Co-op Employer (CCE) Funding Offered to 100 on campus employers to support their investment in a summer co-op student. Some funding also available for fall and winter All Co-op supports and operations shifted seamlessly to online mode thanks to mySuccess, MS Teams, and Zoom Employer interviews and site visits Student appointments (mock interviews, resume reviews, job search supports) Workshops e.g. resume seminar the job search kickoff Strong Business Development initiatives have allowed us to continue contact with new and existing employers COOP1000
