Accurate passing in football is crucial, especially under pressure. Rondo training method, involving passing between players in limited spaces, can enhance passing abilities. This study evaluates the impact of Rondo training on football passing skills using a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest assessments on SSB Persiba Bogor Regency students. The results show an improvement in passing skills after the training.

  1. THE EFFECT OF RONDO TRAINING METHOD ON FOOTBALL PASSING SKILLS Megy Nurfallah 2000945 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

  2. Introduction Accurate passing is the price of death for a soccer player (Scheunemann, T. 2005). Because along with pressure from the opponent especially against teams that apply high pressure, passing becomes more difficult. Passing itself is the art of transferring the momentum of the ball from one player to another Mielke (2007). According to Young in (Anam, 2013) the accuracy of kicking in soccer is influenced by the player's endurance and flight hours. Danurwindo, (2014) With this method, players will come into contact with the ball a lot and often because the size of the field and the number of players involved are also limited, so automatically their playing ability will quickly increase, especially when they are always under pressure from opponents, which will get them used to the real situation of the players as well. will familiarize them with the real situation. Players will also learn a lot to move without the ball, especially to create and exploit empty space, because this must involve several players, automatically the understanding of playing with each other will quickly increase along with the needs in modern football which require players to improve their technique. , tactics, physical condition and intelligence playing in various situations. .

  3. Problem Formulation 1. Can Rondo training affect passing skills? This aim is also to improve passing abilities which are implemented at all levels of football players. This method requires several people (at least three people) to pass the ball to each other..

  4. METHODS The method used in this research is a quasi experimental design method. According to Sugiyono (2016, p. 72) the experimental research method is a research method used to look for the influence of something being treated on another under conditions that can be controlled, such as the rondo training method on football passing skills. According to Creswell (2015), quasi-experiment is an experimental design that is carried out without randomization, but involves assigning participants to groups. The quasi- experimental approach used was a one group pretest posttest design. Using pre test and post test research types, and using experimental methods. Experimental research design is a research design used to evaluate or obtain initial knowledge. This design is often used as a basis for implementing a program or policy. This research aims to determine the effect of Rondo training on football passing skills. The research method used is pseudo-expression with a passing board research design. The research instrument used was a football passing skills test instrument. The population in this study were students of SSB Persiba Bogor Regency with the sampling technique used, namely pre-test sampling, totaling 30 students who were divided into experimental classes and control classes. .

  5. RESULT Based on the table above, there is data obtained from the pretest results in the sample group with the highest pretest score being 7 and the highest posttest score being 9, and the lowest pretest score being 3 and the lowest posttest score being 5 with a pretest average of 4.8 and a posttest average of 6. ,4. The data normality test is carried out to find out whether the data is normally distributed or not. The normality test used in this research uses the Shapiro-Wilk test. The following are the results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test using the SPSS application: If the data is normally distributed or the significance value is > 0.05 then the next step is to use the paired sample t-test and the independent sample t-test, if the data is not normally distributed or the significance value is > 0.05 then the next step is to use the Wilcoxon test. . . 6. DISCUSSION This method had a positive impact on the sample, where the sample felt that the training program with increasing training volume each week with meetings three times a week provided different challenges. From the results of the data processing obtained, it can be seen that there is a significant difference in the influence of the sample group with a significant increase. It can be seen from the data processing through the Wilcoxon test <0.05, which means there is a significant influence. shows that during the pre-test 20% of students had passing abilities in the poor category, and 80% of students were in the medium category. The good category is 0%. The conclusion that can be drawn is that students' abilities at the beginning of training are on average medium and low. Students' abilities at the end of the exercise (post-test) showed 0% for the poor category, 84% for the medium category and 16% for the good category. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the average ability of students after practice is in the medium and good categories. This shows that there is an increase in students' passing accuracy abilities after using the rondo training method. . .

  7. CONCLUSION Based on the results of research entitled "The Effect of the Rondo Training Method on Football Passing Skills" it can be concluded as follows: Rondo Training can be applied in football training to improve passing skills with a short training time, because the results of this research show that there is an influence of the Rondo Training Method on improving football players' passing accuracy with significant results between pre-test-post-test in the passing skill variable with Rondo Training . .
