Priority: Increase Financial Resources in an effort to Enhance Operational Effectiveness Selected Funding Opportunities: Selected Funding Opportunities: August 2023 August 2023 December 2023 December 2023 Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (INCLUDES) NSF NSF offers support for five types of projects that connect and contribute to the National Network: (1) Design and Development Launch Pilots - 2 will be funded, (2) Collaborative Change Consortia -2 will be funded (3) Alliances 1 will be funded (4) Network Connectors 5 will be funded, and (5) Conferences 5 will be funded The NSF INCLUDES National Network is a multifaceted collaboration of agencies, organizations, and individuals working collectively to broaden participation in STEM. Priority: Increase Financial Resources in an effort to Enhance Operational Effectiveness Selected Funding Opportunities: Selected Funding Opportunities: August 2023 August 2023 December 2023 December 2023 Title Agency Scope Discovery Research Pre-K-12 (DRK-12) NSF The goal of the Discovery Research PreK-12 program (DRK-12) is to catalyze research and development that enhances all preK-12 teachers and students opportunities to engage in high-quality learning experiences in STEM. November 8, 2023 https://new.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/discovery-research-prek-12-drk-12 50-60 awards, at varying levels, from $100,000 - $5 million, totaling $50,000,000 Level I = requests up to $450,000 with a duration of up to three years; Level II = up to $3,000,000 with a duration of up to four years; and Level III = up to $5,000,000 with a duration of up to five years. Funding levels for other project types are as follows: Partnership Development proposals are up to $100,000 for one year; Synthesis proposals are up to $600,000 and three-years duration; Workshop /Conference proposals are up to $200,000 and one-year duration ? Priority: Increase Financial Resources in an effort to Enhance Operational Effectiveness Selected Funding Opportunities: Selected Funding Opportunities: August 2023 August 2023 December 2023 December 2023 Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST) National Science Foundation (NSF) Notice seeking proposals to enhance the research capabilities of Minority-serving institutions (MSIs) through the establishment of centers that effectively integrate education and research: Preliminary proposals are required for Phase I and Phase II projects - an invitation from NSF must be received before submitting a full proposal. Both Phase I and Phase II CREST Center awards provide multi-year support for institutions that demonstrate a strong research base. Phase I CREST Center awards provide funding for five years of research on a specific NSF-supported topic. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006. Proposals may be based on the Four Keys to Unlocking Career Success: 1. Postsecondary Education and Career Navigation System 2. Dual or Concurrent Enrollment 3. Work-Based Learning 4.
