With a focus on service leadership, coaching, and mentorship, participants will engage in a 5-week hybrid program that blends in-person networking events with virtual classes. Inspired by renowned leaders, the program emphasizes key leadership attributes, foresight, stewardship, and motivation. Mentors play a crucial role in guiding participants, discussing session topics, and offering support. Opportunities exist for club members to recruit participants, facilitate sessions, provide mentorship, offer technical support, and host networking events. Rotarians Inspired to Succeed & Engage District 5030 Emerging Leader Program
A New Program for District 5030 Clubs Create a Club Talent Pipeline Grow and Retain Emerging Leaders 50 participants (1 per club) will be selected to participate in a 5-week program Hybrid program that includes two in-person networking events and five virtual classes with mentorship
Inspired by Jerry Hall, District 5190 DG and Dr. Kent Keith, Servant Leadership Author and Consultant Piloted in 2021 as a virtual leadership program Trainings draw upon proven leadership concepts focused on serving others and growing member skills applicable to Rotary and a Rotarian s business or profession
Session Topics: Service Leadership- Modeling leadership through serving others Key Attributes of Leaders- Growing self awareness, listening and changing the pyramid Coaching Others- Developing others by coaching and unleash the energy and intelligence of others Foresight and Stewardship- How we go understand and apply what we know is critical to success Meaning and Motivation- Why we do what we choose to do and finding motivation that inspires us to do more
Mentor Match: Each RISE participant will be matched with a mentor OR Pick their own mentor
Mentor Role: Monthly check-in with RISE leader (3 mtgs) Discuss session topics Act as a sounding board and active listener
2023 Session Dates: September 7, 14 & 28 October 19 and 26 November 2 and 16
Opportunities to Participate: Recruit RISE participant from your club Session Facilitator (2 hrs) Mentor (5 hrs) Session Tech Support (2 hrs) Host a Networking Event (3 hrs)
