  4. SSD Something .. Simple Special Different PLANNING AGAIN Do you have your club calendar with major events planned and ready? Have you tied your club calendar into ability to participate in district events? Do you have all of your committee chairs, identified and named? Do you have fund raisers planned Do you have projects planned? Do you have your strategic plan in place? Do you have club goals in place tied to district and RI goals? Are you ready to have fun?

  5. SSD Something .. Simple Special Different 2018-2019 DISTRICT GOALS ADMINISTRATION 100% of Clubs use Club Central. Continue Technology focus with web-site updates and communication through social media. Update district web-site. 15% of Clubs will Qualify for Presidential Citation. 35% of Clubs will Qualify for the Governor s Award. Clubs will have 4 Rotary Educational Programs/year. Clubs will submit one article for District Newsletter promoting a service project/year.

Simple Special Different 2018-2019 DISTRICT GOALS MEMBERSHIP ADD ONE NEW CLUB TO THE DISTRICT 15% of Clubs will initiate a new activity related to membership (recruitment, retention, support). DG will send personal welcome to all new members. Each club will have a net +1 in membership for the year. This will add 45 new members to our District.

  7. SSD Something .. Simple Special Different 2018-2019 DISTRICT GOALS FOUNDATION 100% participation in Foundation Giving with a 5% increase in Annual Fund Giving. Promote Rotary Direct to encourage giving. Hold a unique Foundation Fundraiser. DG will send personal notes to all new Paul Harris Fellows. 100% of Clubs participate in Grant Program. Clubs encouraged to do joint area grants.

  8. hing.. Simple Special 2018-2019 DISTRICT GOALS Different HUMANITARIAN Promote joint Club/Area Grants. Each Area will collaborate in a joint grant application. Each club will participate in local and international service projects.

  9. SSD Something .. Simple Special Different 2018-2019 DISTRICT GOALS NEW GENERATIONS/YOUTH SERVICES Camp Neidig: Support 100% Club participation with Club representatives attending the annual BBQ. Youth Exchange: Clubs will support and conduct an educational program about Youth Exchange. Clubs will support Interact and Rotaract. Interact/Rotaract event will be held at 2019 District Conference.

  12. District Governor Award 2018 District Governor Award 2018- -2019 Rotary District 7430 Rotary District 7430 2019 SSD Something .. Simple Our District would like to recognize those clubs in our district that have achieved the criteria for the SSD District Governor Award for achievements in 2018-2019. PART 1:ONE OF THESE IS MANDATORY Have a net gain of +1 in membership from July 1 reported to RI by April 30th, 2019 For Membership: Do something New and Simple, Something Special and Something Different-- Describe what your club did: Complete strategic plan Participate in the 2019 District Conference and Concert for Hunger and Rotary Day PART 2 Meet Club Foundation Goals as entered in Club Central Meet Polio Goals as entered in Club Central Participate in the Polio Purple Pinkie 5km Fundraiser in October. Conduct a 4 way test Speech Contest Participate/sponsor a membership networking event either your own club or multi-clubs. Rotary Branding and Marketing: do Something new and Simple, Something Special and Something Different-Describe what your club did. Hold at least one program during the year on Rotary Branding and Marketing Sponsor or co-sponsor -1 youth exchange student either inbound or outbound Submit at least one article to the district newsletter about a club activity/project Involve Interact/rotaract members as part of a club community service project or fundraiser describe what you did.
