Overview of AQE Ltd and Common Entrance Assessment in Northern Ireland
AQE Ltd is a company facilitating academic selection for entry into schools in Northern Ireland through a Common Entrance Assessment. The process involves registration, test administration, and result publication. The cost of the test is £60, aimed at covering administrative expenses. Various schools in Belfast, Southern, Western, North Eastern, and South Eastern regions participate in this academic selection. Registration for the assessment runs from May 4th to September 23rd, and applications can be submitted online on the AQE website. Schools do not profit from the tests, and there are exceptions for students entitled to Free School Meals.
