document for suggestions), and move the
necessary letters to the bottom half of the divided
screen.
2.
Begin by having a student spell a familiar word you
provide.
3.
Direct the student to make a new word by
changing one letter at a time.
4.
Continue with more new words, alternating
between decoding and encoding.
