On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he
gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but
wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have
heard me speak about.
"What is it you want?" he asked. She said, "Grant
that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your
right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”
"You don't know what you are asking," Jesus said
to them. "Can you drink the cup I am going to
drink?" "We can," they answered.
“Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you: The Son of Man is going to be
delivered into the hands of men.”

But they did not understand what this meant.
It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask
him about it. An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would

Global Leadership Institute (GLI) & LeadLab:
The Global Leadership Institute (GLI) at Andrews
University has been commissioned by the GC-LDP to
support divisions through a variety of LeadLab
events and training that support transformational
growth in Adventist leadership. Additionally, a
selection of activities will initiate and support growth
in leadership development processes to provide
divisions with specially trained leaders with the
experience and training to initiate leadership
development within their divisions.
