Main Changes to the Exam Main Changes to the Exam Exam Structure Mark Allocation Number Of Papers Name Change
ITC IAC Initial Test of Competence Initial Assessment of Competence Four papers written over two consecutive days. Three papers written over three consecutive days. Total marks of 100 marks per paper. Total marks of 120 per paper. 30 minutes set aside for reading the required. Required and scenario to be handed at the same time.
New Competency Framework The new competency framework has six competency areas and the EXAMCO should strive for an even spread over the three papers. There will be for in the meantime a limited assessment on values and attitudes. (Communication skills will still be assessed). There will not be assessment specifically relating to the public sector in 2025. Sustainability issues should only be assessed in general. There are templates explicitly for the learning outcomes to be assessed.
