Strong Rotary Clubs Strategic Plans 3 year plans Provide focus Clear offer to new members Ready plan for incoming presidents
Strong Rotary Clubs Stay Engaged Service Projects keep members Club Committees Club Admin, Foundation, PR, Youth Services, etc Community Speakers at meetings, vocational visits, creative engagement Fellowship Fun, celebrations, outings with families and friends outside Rotary

Recruiting Members Responsibility of all Rotarians Appropriate members to engage prospective members Follow membership leads from My Rotary Hold events for prospective members to introduce to Rotary Encourage Rotactors to join Rotary
Mentoring New Members Understand service interest of new members Assign a strong and active Rotarian mentor to o Share professional expertise, community knowledge and Rotary information o Give new member responsibility in area of service interest and/or assign to an active club committee o Guide to other Rotarians who may enhance Rotary experience
Flexibility in Rotary - Membership Types Active and Honorary Active Regular Associate Corporate Family Rule of 85 Dual Rotaract Clubs can add others
Flexibility in Rotary - Meetings Clubs free to determine how to conduct their meeting Best day and time for their meetings Change or cancel a meeting Count service projects or social events as meetings Can meet in person or online, alternate between meeting types, or even to use both formats at the same time
Flexibility in Rotary - Meetings Clubs can: Amend bylaws to change attendance requirements and termination policies involving members with poor attendance Reduce meeting frequency, as long as they meet in some way at least twice a month. E-clubs and Rotary clubs No RI distinction between e-clubs and traditional clubs.
Flexibility in Rotary - Clubs Satellite Club Short-term, transitional step on the way to becoming a full, independent Rotary club Interested persons become Rotarians of Sponsor club and only 8 persons required for Satellite Club Meetings considered for make-up by other Rotarians
Flexibility in Rotary SatelliteClubs Sponsor & satellite club agree on how members are added and included in both Bylaws Rotaract Clubs can be converted into Satellite Clubs No timeframe for conversion to full Rotary Club Names would be: Rotary Satellite Club of Bo Sunset Rotary Satellite Club of Banjul Boulevard
Flexibility in Rotary SatelliteClubs Have a Chair and not President Chair should have position on Board of Sponsor Club Have separate Boards and Bylaws Set own meeting place and time Determine dues structure invoiced with sponsor club
