Purpose of District-wide Strategic Plan 2018-21 Strategic focus on key district-wide areas District-wide strategic goals and associated objectives that are time-bound, realistic, and measurable Flexibility for each district site to develop and implement operational strategies and tactical activities 2

3. Process for Developing the District-wide Strategic Plan 2018-21 District Consultation Council work in 2017-18: Evaluation and discussion of progress towards the 2014-17 district-wide strategic goals and objectives Discussion of district-wide strategic areas of focus for 2018-21 Alignment with the Chancellor s Goals for the District Development of goals, associated objectives, baseline measures and targets to be achieved by 2021 3

G oal Area 1 : Student Learning and Achievement Goal Related Chancellor s Goals for the District Increase academic success of students enrolled in credit courses and improve achievement gaps of at risk student groups Focus on student success and equity Grow enrollments Increase student engagement in college activities Strengthen student, employee, and community relations Focus on student success and equity 4
