TODAY’S TASK IS TO USE THE SKILLS YOU USED LAST
WEEK TO PREPARE SOME DIFFERENT FOOD FROM THE
PROTEIN FAMILY.
ONCE PREPARED, YOU THEN NEED TO TASTE THEM AND
EVALUATE THEM.
 
A CHOPPING BOARD
A GRATER
A SHARP KNIFE
COOKED CHICKEN
COOKED HAM
CHEESE
TUNA
EGG
OR OTHER FOODS THAT ARE A SOURCE OF
PROTEIN
 
YOU WILL NEED:
 
TODAY WE WILL BE PRACTISING:
CUTTING USING A SMALL KNIFE – CHILDREN SHOULD LEARN HOW TO
FORM THEIR HAND INTO A CLAW TO KEEP FINGERTIPS OUT OF DANGER
GRATING – FINGERS CAN EASILY BE GRATED SO KEEP WATCH AND
MAKE SURE THEY DON’T GET TOO CLOSE TO THE END OF WHATEVER
THEY’RE GRATING
