BCHS Homecoming 2022 BCHS Homecoming 2022 Information Guide
Theme The theme for this Homecoming Dance is Enchanted Forest Don t like dances? This is MUCH more than a dance! It is a festival with games and activities to keep you having fun with old and new friends all night! Water and snacks provided Dance and all activities are indoor with air conditioning
When, Where and Whom? Saturday, September 24 from 7:00 pm 10:00 pm Barron Collier High School Main Gym The dance will be in the main gym Games cornhole, pickleball and spikeball in the Auxiliary Gym Karaoke and Trivial Pursuit along with food in the cafeteria Barron Collier High School Students and their guests may attend Guests must be students from Collier County Schools May not be older than 18 Tickets cost $25 and will be available via Student Services during lunch Tickets on sale Monday, September 12 through Friday, September 16 Cash or check
Can I go? What are the dance requirements? Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher to go to the dance no exceptions Students with major discipline and major attendance issues may not attend You must turn in a dance form prior to purchasing a ticket to get approval form will need to be signed by your parent Dance forms need to be turned in to Student Services Read all deadline dates and information don t just listen to your friends, they can t get you in. We can.
Appropriate Dress Attire must be free from rips, holes and tears including any jeans No shorts but skirts are allowed Dresses must have at least one strap no strapless dresses allowed strap does not have to be two inches All other items fall under CCPS dress code See Mr. Dawes if you have specific questions to ensure that you don t have issues You will need your Student ID badge to enter! No bags may be brought into the event
Arrival - Departure Students may start arriving by 6:40 All cars must enter through Cougar Lane from Airport Drive All other gates will be locked All student cars will be searched prior to admission Please check your vehicle BEFORE coming to school! Absolutely no party buses You will enter the dance through the main school entrance by Cougie You will not be admitted to the dance if you arrive after 8:00 pm You must be checked into the parking lot before 8:00 pm You may not loiter in the parking lot If you leave before 8:45 we will have to contact your parents for permission Yes, even if you are 18
Tips Make dinner reservations early so that you don t miss out on the dance Don t ruin your homecoming and risk discipline by coming in an altered state Ask questions BEFORE the dance instead of testing a limit we want you to have fun but within policies Have a great time with your friends and make memories good ones!
