Nominating an individual does not guarantee they will be selected
for induction. All nominees go through a screening process.
Selections for the induction are made by the Ada-Borup Hall of Fame
committee. Nominations may be made throughout the year.
To be considered for a fall induction, the nomination form must be
received by May 1
st
.
Any nomination forms received after this date will be considered for
the following year. Nominations will be kept on file indefinitely.
The purpose of the Ada-Borup High School Hall of Fame is to
recognize special athletic achievement by individuals or groups who
have exemplified, developed, encouraged and fostered positive
traits and attributes to enhance the stature of Ada-Borup Public
School and School District #2854’s athletics and their important role
in developing life long skills.

- Four categories have been established from which
nominees will come from:

1.Distinguised Ada-Borup Alumni
◦
2.Coaches, Administrators
◦
3.Community Contributors
◦
4.Athletic Teams
Membership is reserved for a candidate who has met one of
the following qualifications:
◦
1. Has graduated from Ada-Borup High School or as an Ada Viking or
Borup Broncos ten (10) years prior to nomination, and/or
◦
2. Has served the School District in a capacity considerably
◦
3. Has demonstrated how contributions to and success in our society in a
chosen field reflects the quality and stature of the School District, and/or
◦
4.Has unselfishly supported the School District in ways that considerably
contributed to the well being of the district and its students
.
Nomination
Anyone may nominate an individual (male or female) or teams to the
Ada-Borup High School Cougar Hall of Fame. Nomination forms will be made
available via local radio station, newspaper, and the high school activities
office, ABHS website. Once nominated an, individuals nomination form will
be kept on file indefinitely. Up to 6 individuals/teams will be inducted.

(DATE TBD) during the homecoming weekend festivities in Ada.

The Hall of Fame ceremonies are being conducted
during the week to reinforce the connections alumni and friends
have to Ada-Borup High School and Ada-Borup community.
According to the committee, the day will start with an all-school
assembly in the High School Gym, followed by radio interviews at
10:45 with KRJB, and finally the football game at 6:00pm. The
inductees will be recognized during the game and an induction
banquet will take place at noon on Saturday at Ada-Borup High
School. The public is invited to attend!

Ada-Borup High School Hall of Fame recognizes athletic achievements through a nomination process. The selection committee evaluates nominees based on specific qualifications and categories. Membership is reserved for those who have positively impacted the school district. The induction ceremony takes place during homecoming weekend.
