Movement agility is crucial in Taekwondo, with stepping agility being particularly important. This study examines the impact of cones drill and ladder drill training on enhancing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes. Results show significant effects of both drills in improving agility, with no significant difference between the two methods. Further research should focus on developing specific training programs for agility enhancement.

Of the various physical components that effect the ability of taekwondo athletes, agility is still fairy weak factor from other physical condition components especially stepping agility witch is very important to use in the training and competition.

  3. Problem Formulation 1. Is there a significant effect of training cones drill on increase stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes? 2. Is there a significant effect of ladder drill training on increase stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes? 3. Does the cones drill have a more significant effect than the ladder drill on increasing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes?

  5. DISCUSSION 1. There is a significant effect of cones drill training on increasing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes. 2. There is a significant effect of ladder drill training on increasing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes. 3. Cones drill has no more significant effect than ladder drill on increasing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes.

  7. CONCLUSION 1. SUGGESTIONS 1. Further research can be done by providing a cones drill training program with a distance of 2-3 meters so that the results are maximized. 2. Future research can use different samples based on gender, division, and category, and researchers also suggest that more samples be used so that the results obtained are more accurate. 3. Further research can be carried out with different stepping movements by adjusting the novelty of existing regulations in Taekwondo.
