  6. DISPUTABLE TRANSACTION An over charge or unexpected charge by a merchant that you are using. Reconciliation Instructions Note dispute in the public purpose with the status. Select appropriate speedchart/account code. Upload receipt. Contact the merchant FIRST. If you cannot resolve directly, you can contact JPMC. 6

  7. HOW TO PREVENT Use secure sites Don t save your card information Clear your cache Keep your card secure Review your transactions more than just once a month Review bill before providing card information Stay aware! 7

  8. RECURRING CHARGES If you or one of your cardholders leave the University you MUST cancel any recurring charges. Ex. Dropbox, Adobe, subscription dues, etc. These are not considered fraud OR disputable transactions. 8

  9. GIVEAWAY TIME! Check under your chairs and come claim your prize! 9

  10. SPOT CHECKS We may request the public purpose and a copy of the receipt for a specific transaction. You are not required to reconcile the transaction right away. This is simply for informational purposes. This helps us identify fraud before more transactions are attempted and helps us understand what types of allowable items you frequently purchase. OR We already know what you bought and it s not allowed 10

  12. UPDATING SPEEDCHARTS/APPROVERS This is not an automatic system update. We don t know when a speedchart changes, a grant ends, an approver leaves, etc. until you tell us to make the appropriate updates. Consolidate requests as much as possible. 12
