The kickoff meeting for Summer Shutdown 2020 was held on January 24th, outlining the detailed schedule from May 31st to October 12th. The shutdown duration is set for 20 weeks, with plans to possibly reduce it to 16 weeks. The maintenance tasks and service building outages have been scheduled for May, with regular progress meetings set between January and June. Major jobs are to be finalized by the end of February, followed by the distribution of T&M/Fixed price packets in March. Specific tasks for the shutdown include system checks, Rad Surveys, re-coring activities, tunnel work, and equipment installations. Resource leveling and job labeling are crucial aspects to ensure a smooth execution of the shutdown plan.
