Caveats 8 In any case, democracy cannot be exported, it must be grown from within. Popular support and participation are the prerequisite ingredient for democracy. Popular support should not lead to populism, but create the strengthened republicanism. The Korea Wave should be just one of triggering effects, rather than a cure-all.
