  13. Student Interactions First Assignment 1. After practicing one element of writing assignment in Module 3 Discussion, turn in a complete draft in Module 4. Use the rubric to guide drafting. IUPUI SCHOOL OF LIBERAL ARTS

  14. Student Interactions Peer Review Tool 1. Introduce students to the Peer Review tool in a traditional context. 2. Students who submit the draft are matched with peers who also submitted. Matching can be automated or assigned. Consider how to address late submissions. 3. Provide the grading rubric with space for comments. Focus on student comments, not point values. 4.   15. Student Interactions Late-Semester Assignment Applies Introductory Concepts 1. Students learn structure of courts and basics of major substantive areas of the law in the first two-thirds of the semester. 2. In Module 13, students learn elements of the trial. 3.   16. Student Interactions Peer Review With a Twist 1. Students are familiar with Peer Review in the traditional context from Module 3. 2. Students draft a Direct Examination, submit it, and are matched through the Peer Review tool with a colleague in the Module 13 Direct Examination Assignment. IUPUI SCHOOL OF LIBERAL ARTS

  17. Student Interactions The Twist 1. Students use their matched colleague s Direct Examination Assignment to draft a responsive document (Cross Examination Assignment).
