Our break time is at 10.35am 10.50am. Our lunch time is at 12.15pm 1pm. We are also lucky enough to have ten minute breaks in the afternoon to play and give our brains a rest. Our school day ends at 2.55pm.
Our Class Charter Primary 3/2 have been working very hard since we have been back to school creating our class charter. We had a look at the rights and agreed upon the ones that felt were the most important to us and agreed on ways we can respect these rights. We also discussed what kind of teacher we want Mrs Redford to be. We decided that our class charter would include; To listen to each other and take it in turns to speak. To always be friendly and care for each other. To always try our best and work hard. To help each other when we can. To make sure we act in a safe manner in our classroom and playground.
Health and Wellbeing. For the first few weeks of Primary 3/2, we have been and will continue to, spend a lot of time focusing on our Health and Wellbeing as we return to school life. Our topics this term are; Emotions. We will be using the Pixar characters from the movie Inside Out to help us to understand what each emotion can look and feel like. We will be using this throughout our time in Primary 3/2 to check in on our emotions and to encourage us to consider why we feel certain emotions and what we can do to support our emotions Growth Mindset. We have been focusing on achieving a powerful growth mindset in our class. We have created bunting that details the goals we want to achieve this year and how we can do this. We will also work on this throughout the year so we continue to understand our powerful brains and that mistakes are part of our learning journey. Safe. We have been examining what situations might be safe or unsafe and what we could do if we were ever in an unsafe situation. This will extend to keeping ourselves and loved ones safe.
