What is the Demographics Profile? Background and context to the four substance profiles on alcohol, marijuana, opioids, and tobacco. Demographic, geographic, health, economic, and populations with special considerations data are presented because of the importance of these factors in risk of and protection from substance use. Data and background on risk and protective factors for youth substance use and abuse to supplement data presented in other profiles.
