Talking about definite plans When we want to express a definite plan in the future, we need to use the present continuous language structure. The following chart shows some examples and the elements we need to include.

Tom: Let s see No, I m not doing anything. Amy: Hey, I m having a party next Saturday. Do you want to come? Tom: Oh, I can t! I m attending a conference. I m very sorry. Amy: Too bad.
