Empower young people in the Highlands through sports leadership programs aimed at developing leadership skills and creating employment opportunities. The Highland Leadership Programme focuses on providing accredited training to secondary pupils and young leaders, supported by partnerships with various organizations. The initiative aims to offer transferable life skills to individuals aged 12-25, supporting wider achievement and attainment. Exciting collaborations and projects are in progress, including the Junior Leader Project and STEM initiatives, to further enhance leadership skills in the region.

OUTCOME 2 Empower the young people of the Highlands by growing leadership training and opportunities within the medium of sport and physical activity Key Activities Develop an accredited Highland Leadership Programme aimed at Secondary pupils Develop and deliver courses locally aimed at young leaders Inverness College - supporting Sport & Recreation students in Kingussie Leadership to employment (looking at the progression from Leadership into workforce)

  3. SPORTS LEADERSHIP Aim: To offer opportunities in leadership & transferable life skills in every area of Highland to young people 12- 25 years Supporting wider achievement & attainment Deployment Employment Training : 2018 - 228 YL were trained in Sports Leadership.
