  6. Working group Sub Groups Review GEO data sharing and data management principles. Review existing DWG principles in relation to initiatives such as FAIR (Findable Accessible Reusable Interoperable). Develop best practice guidelines for implementation by GEO members. Data Sharing (getting more open datasets), Data Interoperability (best practices for improving interoperability) Sub groups dealing with more technical aspects in data sharing and interoperability, such as standards for interoperability, or for example aspects of in-situ data sharing, and one subgroup with more focus on legal, ethical and privacy issues. But this also depends on the existing expertise in the group. In Situ Data Sharing Data Management (DMP, DOI, Long term preservation, certification) - Data Services (discovery, sharing, remote processing & development, ...) - Interoperability (services (eg STAC, Opensearch, CSW, ...) & formats (NetCDF, ZARR, COG, ...) & Metadata - Legal / Ethical issues In each group, capacity of trend analysis and link to related organisations (RDA, CEOS, EOSC, ...) Interoperability, SDGs, Open Science
