wal-witral-mawt r, and the one who has yet to be avenged, and who did not get to avenge his murdered relatives!
Ash-haduannakaqad aqamta - al t, I testify that you established prayers,
Wa tayt az-zak t, Waamartabi-l-ma r f, gave zak t, Enjoined the good,
Waa a t All ha waRas lahu att at k al-yaq n, and obeyed All h and H is Messenger until the certainty of death overtook you,
Fa-la an All hu ummatanqatalatka, So may All h curse the nation who killed you,
Wala an All hu ummatan alamatka, And may All h curse the nation who oppressed you,
Wala an All hu ummatansami at bi-dh lika fa- ra iyat bih, And may All h curse the nation that heard about this and were pleased with it.
ash-haduannakakuntan ran fi-l-a l b ish-sh mikha, I testify that you were a light that passed through noble loins,
Lam tunajjiska-l-j hiliyyatubi-anj sih , uncontaminated by the pollutions of pre-Islamic Ignorance,
Walam tulbiskamin mudlahimm ti thiy bih , and never swaddled in its dark clothes,
Waashhaduannakamin da im id-d n, And I testify that you are a pillar of religion
Waash-haduannakal-im m ul-barru, at-taqiyyu, And I testify that you are the good, righteous, pure,
ar-ra iyyu, az-zakiyyu, al-h d , al-mahd , and rightly guided Im m who guides others and is pleased with All h swill,
Waashhaduannal-a immatamin wuldikakalimatut- taqw , And I testify that the Im ms descended from you are the word of righteousness,
Wa-l- ujjatu al ahl id-duny , and All h sauthority over the people of this world,
Waush-hid Ull ha wamal ikatahu waanbiy ahu warusulahu And I call on All h, H is angels, H is prophets, and H is messengers to bear witness
ann bi-kummu minun wabi-iy bikum, that I believe in you and in your return,
M qinun bi-shar yi I d n wakhaw t mi amal , Being certain of the ordinances of my faith and the outcomes of my deeds,
Waqalb li-qalbikumsilmun, Waamr li-amrikum muttabi un, And my heart is at peace with yours, And my affair follows yours,
.. Wa al hirikum, Wa al b inikum. and upon your outward aspects and your inner ones!
Bi-ab anta waumm yabnaRas l ill h, Bi-ab anta waumm y Ab Abdill h, May my father and my mother be your sacrifice, O son of All h s Messenger!
Wajallatil-mu batu bika alayn , and grievous was your tribulation for us,
Wa al jam i ahl is-sam w ti wa-l-ar , and for all the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth,
Fa-la an All hu ummatanasrajat So may All h curse the nation that saddled
