  2. 1 OUM Eliminate Print Modules & Go Digital A total of 2,449 modules and 383 study guides for text books have been made available digitally in myINSPIRE, OUM s learning management system.

  3. The transition supported by the following factors: * * * * OUM learners are getting younger and tech-savvy. Increased percentage of Internet users in Malaysia from 76.9% in 2016 to 87.4% in 2018, while 93.1% access the internet via Smart phones. More than RM4 million in savings annually by eliminating printing, logistic and storage costs. Immediate correction for errors and content updates of e-modules.

  4. 2 OUM Electronic Administration Another green initiative by OUM involved administrative matters and processes. * * Effective recording of info & documents, thus enabling remote access & eliminating physical storage. Improve processes and reduce cost. e Human Resource Management Online Help Desk e-Resource Booking System Digital Manuals & Handbooks Online Key e-CRM Performance Indicators

  5. 3 OUM Enrichment of Digital Library * * All learning resources will be fully digital. Enrichment of learning resources that is accessible anytime, anywhere.

  6. 4 Introduction of Learning Skills for 21st Century for all undergraduates learners OUM is committed towards creating an education experience that meet the needs of 21st Century workplace demand. The module will provide better understanding on diversity and globalisation among learners. The modules promote: 4Cs (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication Skills & Collaborative Skills) * **** Numeracy Global Citizenship Sustainable Development Goals Environmental Education

  7. 5 Capacity Building for Academic Staff ** * Inclusive Instructional Design. Designing an interactive learning environment that provide personalised support for every learner. Embed learning design to create engaging learning activities.

  8. 6 New features in myINSPIRE to support fully online programmes and personalised learning **** * Forum in myINSPIRE is linked to OUM email system. e-Connect using Telegram for efficient real-time communication. e-Classroom in the form of video-conferencing mode. Artificial Intelligence in the form of predictive analytics to be embedded in myINSPIRE to effectively identify the high risk learners. Subjects have e-Lessons that are engaging and stimulating.

  9. 7 EXAM Students can request to sit for MCQ exam anytime, anywhere. Its provides greater flexibility to adult learners. * * A set of question papers is generated randomly from the question bank system and pushed to the learner s computer via the web platform. The generated sets of questions are different between learners but with the same level of difficulty. Exam results can be generated immediately upon completion of the exam. *

  10. 8 embark on becoming CASHLESS SOCIETY benefits: Less time and costs associated with handling paper money as well as storing and depositing it.

  11. 9 POST COVID INITIATIVES

ALL programes are now fully online Started offering two fully online programmes in May 2019, it was increased to seven programmes by early 2020. * * With the movement control order imposed on 18 March 2020 by the government of Malaysia to curb covid 19 pandemic, all programmes has been switched to fully online immediately. * Wider reach for learners with geographical barriers such as rural areas, on-site work places, etc.

  13. * * * * * OUM is offering 20% discount on tuition fees. All exam are conducted online. Face-to-face tutorial will only be conducted once it is allowed by the Government (Ministry of Education). Increase intake from three to six per year. Better learner tutor ratio.
