  3. Starter Activity In pairs discuss what you think renewable energy actually is. Write down a definition on page 21. Task In the UK, we use these different energy sources to produce electricity. Look at the different types of energy on page 21 and decide if this type of energy is renewable or non- renewable. Circle your correct answer.

  5. Task The information on the page 24 outlines the different possible options that WAG could use to produce renewable energy. Read through the information and make a decision on which type of renewable energy Wales should invest in and why. Make a decision on which type of renewable energy Wales should invest in and why.   6. Now read the information on wind farms on pages 25 and 26 of your booklet. Task: Using your existing knowledge of PESTLE. Decide if the advantages and disadvantages of wind power (outlined on page 26 of your booklet) are Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legislative or Environmental. Write your answers in the table provided and be prepared to feedback to the class.
