Prefix Suffix Affixation
Conversion is a base of one category which is formed by extending the use of a base of another category Ex : 1. The plants need water 2. I ll water the plants Conversion

Back formation is a word formation by deleting the suffix which will change the category of word class. Ex : Editor (N) Edit (V) Back-formation
