Opening Prayer Almighty God, our Father; The radiance of your Son lights the path for our journey. May our journey continue to warm our hearts And bring us closer to you. May our faith, inspired by the Holy Spirit of love, Fill us with the glory of your presence each day. We offer our praise through Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity Of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
Philemons Love and Faith Philemon: 1:4-7 A reading from the letter of Paul to Philemon. When I remember you in my prayers, I always thank my God because I hear of your love for all the saints and your faith towards the Lord Jesus. I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective when you perceive all the good that we may do for Christ. I have indeed received much joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, my brother. The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
Prayer of the Faithful Response: Lord, continue to accompany us as we journey together in faith For the Church, working to build up God s kingdom on earth, we pray to the Lord, Lord, continue to accompany us as we journey together in faith For all who labour for justice, the source of peace, we pray to the Lord, Lord, continue to accompany us as we journey together in faith For victims of war, rebuilding out of the ashes, we pray to the Lord, Lord, continue to accompany us as we journey together in faith For all who suffer hardship, especially those in desperate situations this winter, we pray to the Lord, Lord, continue to accompany us as we journey together in faith For strength and comfort for the sick and dying, we pray to the Lord, Lord, continue to accompany us as we journey together in faith
Closing Prayer O God, Teach us to journey together in faith, As one unified holy family. Dear God, as we walk in the light of Your Son, Help us to continue to grow our faith in You. May our faith in You, feed our hunger and thirst for holiness. We ask that you continue to bless us all on our journey. Amen.
