  3. Treasurer Report South Africa saw a rapid increase in inflation which has led to an aggressive increase in the interest rates by the Reserve Bank. Global economic situation remains unstable especially due to the continued wars in Europe and now Middle East. South African s starting to feel the pinch as consumers obtained more credit to fund income shortfalls.
