Pavement Management Plan / Utility Maintenance oCapital Improvement Plan 5-year plan city uses to budget, schedule, and plan for infrastructure projects Bolton & Menk was hired as Consultant Engineer December 2021 Information Collection oTopographical Survey, Resident Questionnaire, Geotechnical exploration, Drone Survey Flight Feasibility Report with Project Recommendations

  4. STREET IMPROVEMENTS Curb & Gutter - Replace with Full Height Curb Pavement - Match Existing Street Width Final Layer of Bituminous Paved in Early Summer of 2023

PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES Sidewalk added to Spruce St between Division St & 1st St Bituminous trail added to Spruce St between school Entrance and Division St Pedestrian railroad crossing near 2nd St Property owners will be responsible for maintenance of sidewalk and boulevard in front of their property

  8. WATER SYSTEM Full system replacement Hydrants may move locations Water service replacement to Right-of-Way (approx. 15 from Back of Curb)

  9. SANITARY SEWER Full system replacement Sanitary Service replacement to Right-of-Way (approx. 15 from Back of Curb)

OTHER ITEMS City Parking Lots & Alleys Rehabilitation of existing bituminous & gravel surface Streetlights Replacement will be analyzed by Xcel Addition or movement of lights / spacing Trees Tree replacement handled on a Case-by-Case basis Landscaping in ROW is the responsibility of homeowner (fences, irrigation system, pet fences, etc.)

  12. WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE May to October 2022; Final Pavement in 2023 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; No Work on Sunday Staging to be determined by the Contractor Weekly emailed construction updates

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION ACCESS Street will be open to your driveway each morning and night outside of construction hours (sometimes in gravel) Your driveway will be closed for up to 7 days Concrete curb & gutter / driveway installation Park on street in front of home If you have special access needs or are planning an event: Please let us know!

  14. WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION UTILITY SERVICE There are no planned long-term interruptions Short term outages may occur during connection to the newly constructed utility Temporary Water Service Plastic pipe running yard to yard Service through hose spigot

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION MAIL Temporary Mailboxes will be installed Garbage & Recycling Service will be on the normal schedule Residents roll bins to the curb, as usual Contractor will work with the hauler to collect bins Landscaping & Irrigation City right-of-way (ROW) extends ~15 from the curb Any landscaping, invisible fences, irrigation lines within the ROW may be removed as part of construction The City will use only sod to restore disturbed ROW

SCHEDULE Accept Feasibility Report / Order Plans & Specs February 22, 2022* Develop Plans and Specifications February - March Finalize Plans and Specifications End of March 2022 Approve Plans and Specifications - March 22, 2022* Open Bids - Late April 2022 Individual Property Meetings April & May 2022 Accept Bids/Award Contract - May 2, 2022* Begin Construction - May 2022 Complete Base Course of Bituminous Pavement - October 2022 Complete Final Course of Bituminous Pavement - June 2023
