  3. MANS POWER ALWAYS POLISHES THE BRONZE 21 All King Solomon's goblets were gold, and all the household articles in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Nothing was made of silver, because silver was considered of little value in Solomon's days. 22 The king had a fleet of trading ships at sea along with the ships of Hiram. Once every three years it returned, carrying gold, silver and ivory, and apes and baboons. 23 King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth. 24 The whole world sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart. 25 Year after year, everyone who came brought a gift-- articles of silver and gold, robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules. 26 Solomon accumulated chariots and horses; he had fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses, which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. 27 The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore- fig trees in the foothills. 1 Kings 10:21-27 (NIV) King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; (7 pounds) of gold went into each shield. 17 He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold (3.75 pounds) gold in each shield. The king put them in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon. 1 Kings 10:16-17 (NIV) 25 In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem. 26 He carried off the treasures of the temple of the LORD and the treasures of the royal palace. He took everything, including all the gold shields Solomon had made. 27 So King Rehoboam made bronze shields to replace them and assigned these to the commanders of the guard on duty at the entrance to the royal palace. 28 Whenever the king went to the LORD's temple, the guards bore the shields, and afterward they returned them to the guardroom. 1 Kings 14:25-28 (NIV)

  6. ISAIAH 62:1-12 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. 2 The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. 3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 4 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. 5 As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. 6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, 7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. 8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: "Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled; 9 but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary." 10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations. 11 The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.'" 12 They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted. 8. Themes of Isaiah 62 This is what the LORD says to the house of Israel: "Seek me and live; Amos 5:4 (NIV) God Invites Exhorts Encourages Commands persistent unceasing Radical Vertical with Himself. God promises TRUE IMPACT on the earth from His Church God promises healing concerning all of our disappointments that make us desolate and lonely- AS WE BECOME HIS BRIDE God promises to help us GATHER THE HARVEST OS SOULS the grapes of the vineyard and drink in His eternal sanctuary. God declared that HE WAS COMING JESUS CAME and His reward is with Him and HE IS COMING AGAIN.

  9. GOD IS OFFENDED THAT WE DONT SEEK HIM When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to ransom you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst. Isaiah 50:2 (NIV) And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore His arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. Isaiah 59:16 (KJV) I looked, but there was no one to help, I was appalled that no one gave support; so my own arm worked salvation for me, and my own wrath sustained me. Isaiah 63:5 (NIV) No one calls on your name or strives to lay hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us and made us waste away because of our sins. Isaiah 64:7 (NIV) For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me." Isaiah 66:4 (NIV)

  10. The Motherload of Prayer Invitation For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. (Isaiah 62:1) I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD (you who make mention of the Lord, who bring to remembrance- put the Lord in remembrance of His promises), give yourselves no rest, 7 and give Him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:6,7) Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)

  11. We Each Have Authority In Christ LORD - I WAS PUT ON THE EARTH TO NOT JUST WATCH THE BEAST COME TO POWER I WAS MADE TO BE BOLD BEFORE YOUR THRONE OF GRACE AND PUT FAITH DEMANDS ON YOUR PROMISES TO HOLD BACK THIS VOMIT AND BRING IN A GREAT AWAKENING AND BREAKTHROUGH AND HARVEST YES A GREAT DELIVERANCE. - I rejoice in Your promise like one who finds great spoil. Psalm 119:161 (NIV)

  12. What Gives Us This Privilege To Get Us Into An Opened Heaven s? 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:13-14 (NIV) 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NIV) 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NIV)

  13. So - What Gets Us Into An Opened Heaven s?

  14. Gods Watchman Of Prayer Effect Change All things rise toward crisis; whether individual matters, or those of the corporate Church or those of the affairs of the nations. And those who pray perseveringly and mightily control the crisis in harmony with the will of God. But who are those who can powerfully prevail? They are those who are described as those who draw near to God. Finally it is the prayer of faith that prevails, that is the supplication of righteous men, women, and children of God. God grants our requests if we come to Him with true heart confidence. Faith, therefore, is sustained, first, by looking to the promised Word of God. Second, by being certain that the thing sought is of His will. We need to step out in faith when the command is placed in our spirit to walk forward -without knowing how the answer will unfold. George Lang

  15. God Is Offended When His People Don t Value His Opened Heavens So the LORD Almighty was very angry. 13 "'When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,' says the LORD Almighty. Zechariah 7:13 (NIV)

  16. What About Unanswered Prayer and Delay? John Hyde wrestled with the lack of power in the mission station in India. There were no conversions in our villages last year. What is the reason? We are seeking the reason for this today. If our hearts and lives are not right before God, but become right we will receive a great blessing; or if it is delayed, it will be like holding back a strong flowing river which will eventually overcome with mighty power when it is let go.I believe that if our hearts are right Christ s love MUST give us immediate, constant, unmeasured ever- increasing blessings. If the heart is right, blessing cannot be withheld, it can only be delayed. And to delay the blessing means that when it comes that it will overwhelm. 1896 PRAYING HYDE

  17. Intercession Aligns Us With God And Breaks Our Pride Another reason why God requires this sort of intercession is that it is the only way that the church can be properly fitted to receive the powerful blessings without being prideful themselves. When the church is prostrated in the dust before God and a depth of agony of intercession the blessing does them good. Consequently, a powerful blessing can come upon those who have been deeply impacted by a heart of brokenness and prayer otherwise it would puff them up in the pride. Charles Finney

  18. ALWAYS JUSTIFY GOD IN THE CHALLENGES OF PRAYER Said John Smith, that man of God, so mighty on his knees: "There is no impediment on God's part (in the way of answers to our prayers). It is by justifying God," said he," that I provoke and stimulate myself to contend. It is an abomination when men talk as if they were more willing to bless than God. The necessity for wrestling arises from ourselves or Satan, not from God." "Hence," says his biographer, "it left him no alternative but to wrestle and prevail. This was a principle which he never allowed himself or others to call in question." John Smith

  19. The Radical Vertical Leads To The Horizontal The Harvest But those who harvest it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary." "Pray the largest prayer of faith you are drawn out after. You cannot think of a prayer so large that God, in answering it, will not wish that you had made it larger. Pray not for crutches, but for wings." Yes, we cannot think of a prayer so large for the unsaved that God will break in and we will wish that we had made it larger. He asks His people to intercede in behalf of the unsaved. The unsaved are very precious to Him. J.G. McClure 1908

  20. GOD PROMISES THAT THE CHURCH WILL SHOW HIS GLORY TO THE WORLD 2 The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. 3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 4 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah (my delight is in Her), and your land Beulah (Married) ; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted. Isaiah 62:1-12 (NIV) "Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations. Isaiah 60:15 (NIV)

  21. Equipping You To Be An Intercessor

  22. DON LAMB SONG Last Days Warfare Verse 1 So many times I m just catching my breath Driven down by all the battles of life The riptides of gloom and perplexity Take me deeper into my unbelief Bridge: But You reach down and pick me up You break through the darkness of fear You re more real than the bitter cup And You lead me beyond the tears Chorus: Your Spirit carries me Above the waves, Oh Lord Your grace empowers me Though my knees are worn I am blessed to be Yours A channel of prayer In this last days warfare
