  3. LOOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Loom Consortium & Section 25 Company In force since December 2013, consists 8 members. Total Corpus Pooled Rs 51,50,000/-. Includes contribution from 5 active members @ Rs. 10 lakh each. Section 25 Company Formation underway. Seeking Cabinet Approval for the project. Surat Vankar Sangh Contribution of Rs. 30 lakh is being requested for the project. Positive outcome by December 2014. Tripartite Agreement & CMTI s Preliminary Study The Agreement to be signed once the Section 25 Company is formed. During August & September 2014 CMTI visited Surat & Doddaballapur to study the chosen loom. A revised DPR (Phase I Rs 5 Cr) is to be produced by CMTI. 3

COMMON FACILITY CENTER (CFC) MOU with SEVA & UKA University TMMA joined hands with Surat Engineering Vikas Association & Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli, Surat for establishment of a Common Facility Centre in Surat. A tripartite MOU was signed among TMMA, SEVA & UTU in July 2013. Land & Building to be provided by UKA University. DPR Work is Stuck, Support Needed Total Project outlay of Rs. 45 Crore. DPR was supposed to be made by IL&FS. Due to financial crunch DPR is stuck. TMMA seeks DHI support in getting DPR formed by a third party. 4
